Building Relationships, Renewing Resources

Consumer Recycling

Public and Small business Customers

Recycling saves energy which in turn reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Ten pounds of aluminum cans reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 16 pounds, which is the energy equivalent of seven gallons of gasoline. As individuals we can make a positive impact on our environment and earn extra income by recycling scrap metals.

At Main Metal Recycling we will purchase your non-ferrous scrap metals anytime during our business hours, Monday - Friday, 8-4:15 and Saturdays, 8-12:30. Please see our map for directions to our facility on Beaver Street near Myrtle Avenue. As required by state law, you must present a government issued photo identification card and provide other basic information at the time that you sell us your scrap.

We value the role that individuals play in the success of our business. Please see below a list of the items that we can purchase from you as well as a list of items that we are not able to accept. You may bring your scrap metal to us in your car, pick up, or utility trailer. Our team will assist you in unloading the materials you bring to us. Please call or e-mail us at timh@ mainmetalrecycling.com for current prices or for answers to questions you may have about any metals not on this list. We look forward to seeing you!
